Special needs requests
Candidates can be assured that we do not compromise on the standard of marking or allow the quality of exams to be affected in any way.
The procedures below must be followed when requesting consideration of special educational needs/disabilities.
Requests for special educational needs provisions must be submitted using either:
- the Request for Special Provision form: International requests only - please contact your area representative for a copy of this form.
- via Trinity Online: UK requests only – please contact Trinity’s London office for instructions on how to do this
We require a minimum of 28 days notice prior to the start of the exam date. Requests for amended exam materials such as Braille require at least six weeks notice. When processing requests, Trinity must give priority to requests which were received before the deadline over any late requests. Therefore, Trinity cannot guarantee that a late request will be processed in time.
For candidates requesting examiner briefing only, supporting documentation is not necessary. For all other requests for special needs provision, appropriate supporting documentation must be sent in with the request.
If you have any specific questions regarding special needs procedures for Trinity’s English Language examinations, please email: email@example.com
