About the competition

One of Trinity’s abiding principles is to encourage creativity and participation in the arts for people of all ages and at all levels. With this in mind, our playwriting competition was launched in 2010 with the intention of encouraging new and emerging writers to create work that appeals to audiences of children and young people — and which could be performed by young people all over the world.
