2013/ 2014 Reading and Writing Exam Dates
The fixed dates for December 2013 - July 2014 Reading and Writing sessions are listed below. Centres should note that Examinations should start at 10am or 6pm, as stated below.
Changing the start time
Centres can request a start time different to those advertised.
This may affect all of the students (e.g. the centre wants to start all of the examinations at 11am instead of 10am) or different levels at different times, (e.g. all Entry 1s at 10am, all Entry 2s at 11am, all Entry 3s at 2pm etc). Centres now have more flexibility when booking examinations and choosing the start times.
Centre Representatives must send details of their request by email to the Reading and Writing coordinator email@example.com.
Notification will then be sent in writing informing centres of the outcome of the request.
What restrictions apply?
1. Requests must be made in writing (no later than the 4 week closing date)
2. All the students at the same level must start the examination at the same time. It is not possible for a class of Entry 1's to have the examination at 10am and another class to take it at 2pm. This will ensure that security of the papers is maintained for all of our centres and candidates.

The dates you have fixed do not work for me. What can my centre do?
Trinity wants to ensure that its candidates have every opportunity to enter for its examinations. If centres find it difficult to work within the dates set here, they should contact firstname.lastname@example.org at least 6 weeks before the exam date to discuss their needs further.

Speaking and Listening
The Speaking & Listening Exams are delivered on demand; any time and place. A Trinity examiner will come to your choice of venue. Please note there is a 4 week closing date for Speaking and Listening entries.
We will only accept requests for Speaking & Listening sessions from the designated person or office of your institution, e.g. your examinations office or the tutor in charge of co-ordinating examinations across your college or school.
Any changes to requested sessions, levels, and candidate names can only be made by these designated people as far as the Trinity online booking system allows and within the terms and conditions of booking.
Please make sure you are familiar with the difference between and implications of Individual Bookings and Block Bookings and that you read the documentation associated with the booking and running of a ESOL Skills for Life or ESOL for Work examination in the UK ESOL Centre Handbook. This handbook also contains detailed information on examination and administrative procedures.
To book examinations, you must be a Trinity Registered Centre. Registration is free. Trinity Registered 'Skills for Life' Centres do not need to re-register for ESOL for Work examinations.
