The new Trinity Guildhall Theory syllabus for Grades 1-8 (2009) is available to download from the panel on the right. This syllabus gives the requirements for Theory Grade examinations from 2009 onwards. It lists both the new Grades 1-5 (from 2007) and the new Grades 6-8 (from 2009) syllabuses.
Candidates wishing to enter for the old syllabus Trinity Grades 6-8 may do so up to and including the November 2010 session*. These candidates should continue to consult the 2007-2008 syllabus, also available on the right.
The new Theory Workbooks for Grades 1-8 are available to purchase from your local music shop. Sample papers for grades 1-8 and past papers from the 2008 examination sessions are available to download and to purchase from your local music shop or our online store.
