Music

Trinity Guildhall's range of qualifications in Music is extensive with syllabuses covering a range of styles from contemporary, jazz, popular and commercial musics as well as classical. As an organisation which is working in around 50 countries, we welcome and embrace cultures from all over the world.

There are assessments for those who have recently started to develop their instrumental or vocal skills through a tiered programme of grade examinations up to Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship diplomas. Fellowship is of a standard commensurate with a Masters Degree. The qualifications span performing, teaching, theory of music, composing, conducting, mentoring and facilitating and all are accredited by the relevant regulatory bodies in England, Wales, Northern Ireland as well as a number of other countries around the world.

The candidate is at the heart of all our work and Trinity Guildhall's examiners, all of whom are professional musicians and fully trained assessors, will do all they can to make candidates feel relaxed in the examination room. They place an emphasis on evaluating what candidates can do and seek to make the assessment experience as positive as possible.
